White paper on Posts & Telecom published

The White Paper prepared by the task force on the Posts and Telecommunications Department (PTD) was published yesterday on the official website of the department (ptd.gov.bd).
The task force formed to review and analyze corruption and irregularities within the PTD over the last 15 years, submitted the white paper following an extensive investigation and review process.
The document provides a comprehensive account of corruption, administrative weaknesses, structural problems, and various irregularities across different activities of the department during the past one and a half decades.
Alongside identifying the problems, the white paper also includes a set of recommendations aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability, and good governance in the Post and Telecommunication sector in the future.
The task force was officially formed on April 21, 2025 with the approval of the Chief Adviser.
Its primary mandate was to prepare a detailed white paper examining corruption and irregularities in the Post and Telecommunication sector over the last 15 years.
