Fire at Gulistan commercial building under control

A fire that broke out at a warehouse on the roof of the Khaddar Bazar Shopping Complex in the capital’s Gulistan was brought under control by the Fire Service.

Nine units of the Fire Service worked to extinguish the blaze and brought it under control at 6:58 pm on Friday.

Fire Service and Civil Defence (Media Cell) Warehouse Inspector Anwarul Islam Dolon confirmed the matter.

The cause of the fire and the extent of damage could not be determined immediately. No casualties were reported.
