Inqilab Moncho calls for prayers, protests demanding justice for Hadi

Staff Reporter:

Inqilab Moncho on Thursday announced plans to hold nationwide prayers and protest marches demanding justice for the murder of its spokesperson, Sharif Osman Bin Hadi.

In a Facebook post, the platform said that following Jumma prayers on Friday, protest marches will be held across the country seeking justice for the killing of Hadi. The programmes will also include prayers for the forgiveness of his soul.

Hadi, also a prospective candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency, was shot in the head on 12 December while travelling in a rickshaw in the Paltan area.

He was airlifted to Singapore for advanced treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries on the night of 18 December.
