The Election Commission has extended the registration period for voting in the 13th parliamentary election and the referendum on the July National Charter through the “Postal Vote BD” app until 31 December.
The decision was announced on Wednesday, according to an EC handout.
As of 4:30pm on 24 December, a total of 6,79,186 people have completed their registration via the app.
Previously, the deadline for registration through the Postal Vote BD app was set for 25 December.
