HSIA bars visitors for 24 hours from 6 pm today

Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) will prohibit entry of all companions and visitors, except ticketed passengers, for 24 hours from this evening due to special operational and security reasons.
The restriction will remain in force from 6:00 pm on December 24 to 6:00 pm on December 25, 2025 in the interest of ensuring passenger services, security and operational discipline, according to a press re-lease issued by the HSIA authority yesterday.
The notice was signed by the Executive Director of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
During this period, only passengers holding valid air tickets will be allowed to enter the airport premis-es, the release said.
The airport authority urged passengers and all concerned stakeholders to extend sincere cooperation in implementing the temporary restriction.
