Bogura: Nomination form has been collected for BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia for the Bogura-7 (Gabatoli–Shajahanpur) constituency for the upcoming 13th National Par-liamentary Election to be held in February 12.
Former Member of Parliament Helaluzzaman Talukder Lalu, the election coordinator for Begum Khaleda Zia, collected the nomination form on behalf of her around 1.30 pm on Sunday from the elec-tion office located on Gohail Road in the district town.
Senior BNP leaders and party activists were present during the time.
Speaking to journalists after collecting the nomination form, Helaluzzaman said Begum Khaleda Zia had been elected from the Bogura-7 constituency for three consecutive terms. He expressed optimism about her prospects in the upcoming election, stating that local voters are enthusiastic and eager to cast their votes in her favor.
