MBBS, BDS entry results published

The results of the admission test for public and private medical and dental colleges for the 2025-26 aca-demic year were published yesterday.
This year’s pass rate is 66.57 percent.
Director General of the Directorate General of Medical Education Professor Dr Nazmul Hossain told that students can check the results of the exam from the website of the Directorate of Medical Education website (www.dgme.gov.bd) and the website of the Directorate General of Health Services website www.dghs.gov.bd and https://result.dghs.gov.bd.
A press release sent by the Directorate General of Medical Education stated that 5,645 candidates have been initially selected on the basis of merit and preference based on the scores obtained by adding the marks in the admission test and the GPA obtained in the SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examina-tions.
According to the results, 120,440 candidates registered to take part in the exam, which is 98.21 percent of the total number of candidates. A total of 2,192 candidates were absent in the examination. In addi-tion, two candidates were expelled due to irregularities at the exam center.
A total of 81,642 candidates have passed the admission test this time. The total pass rate is 66.57 per-cent.
Among those who passed, 31,128 are male candidates, which is 38.13 percent of the total number of passed candidates. On the other hand, 50,514 female candidates have passed, which is 61.87 percent.
