BNP expresses satisfaction over announcement of election schedule

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said they are satisfied with the announcement of the schedule for holding the 13th parliamentary election of the country.

“We are generally satisfied with this schedule. Bangladesh will begin a new horizon in democratic journey through this election,” he said while talking to reporters on Thursday evening giving instant reaction of the party about the announcement of the election schedule.

He said the announcement of the schedule proves that the Election Commission, the government and the political parties want to hold the election and implement the rights of voters.

“We hope that this election will be festive and acceptable to all,” he added.
