826 judicial officers promoted, transferred

The Law and Justice Division of the Ministry of Law yesterday promoted, posted, and transferred a total of 826 judicial officers through separate gazette notifications.
Among them, 250 additional district judges were elevated to district judges, 294 joint district judges were promoted to additional district judges, and 282 senior assistant judges were promoted to joint dis-trict judges, said Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry spokesperson Dr Md Rezaul Karim.
Earlier on August 25, 2025, the government had transferred 230 judges. They include 41 district judges, 53 additional district judges, 40 joint district judges, and 96 senior assistant judges and assistant judges.
