Javed Karim made LGED chief engineer

Javed Karim has officially assumed office as the Chief Engineer (Routine Duties) of the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED). He took over the charge on Monday and suc-ceeded retired Chief Engineer Md. Anwar Hossain.
Karim has earned a good reputation among colleagues as a skilled officer with extensive ad-ministrative and technical experience. His leadership and supervision in several key LGED pro-jects have been widely praised.
