1,787 more suspects held in last 24 hrs

In the ongoing nationwide anti-crime crackdown, 1,787 more suspects were arrested in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning.
According to a press release issued by the Police Headquarters, 1,373 of them were arrested in connection with previous cases and pending warrants, while 414 others were held on various criminal charges.
One locally made pistol, one pipe gun, one locally made inoperative LG (light gun), five crude bomb-like objects, one bullet, and several sharp weapons were seized during the operation.
