1744 more held in drives

In the nationwide ongoing operation to uphold the law and order, 1744 more were arrested across the country in the last 24 hours ended on Saturday.
According to the Police Headquarters, 1130 of them were arrested in previous cases and pending war-rants while remaining 614 others in various criminal charges.
One foreign made pistol, one revolver, three pistols, one local shooter gun, three local LGs, three maga-zines and 38 rounds of bullet were seized during the countrywide operation.
