Jamaat ameer urges CA to hold all-party meeting

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman on Thursday urged Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus to convene an all-party meeting to overcome the prevailing situation in the country.

He came up with the call at an emergency meeting of the party’s Central Executive Council this afternoon.

Shafiqur Rahman presided over the meeting held at the party’s central office in Dhaka’s Moghbazar.

Members of the Council attended the meeting which discussed the overall situation in the country.
