Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus held talks with the country’s religious leaders, intending to build national unity against Indian media’s readiness to misreport and fuel narratives of religious persecution in Bangladesh.
The meeting was held at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka this afternoon to make the mission successful.
Earlier on Wednesday, the chief adviser also held a meeting at the same place on the same ground with prominent leaders from various political parties, including representatives from BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB), Islami Andolon Bangladesh, Jatiya Party (Zafar) and many others.
The meeting is part of a broader initiative of Yunus to build national unity against the Indian worldwide propaganda against Bangladesh.
On Tuesday, he held discussions with leaders of student organisations.
