Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam yesterday said that the fascist Awami League (AL) will not be allowed to hold rallies in the country.
“The Awami League in its current form is a fascist party. There is no way this fascist party will be allowed to hold protests in Bangladesh,” he said in a post on his verified Facebook account yester-day.
Alam said anyone who would try to hold rallies, gatherings and processions by taking orders from the mass murderer and dictator Sheikh Hasina will face full force of the law enforcing agencies.
The interim government would not tolerate any violence or any attempt to break law and order situation in the country, he warned.
The AL has called a protest procession at the city’s Zero Point at 3 pm today (Sunday) on the occa-sion of Shaheed Nur Hossain Day.
In a press release posted on its Facebook page, the AL also asked its men to take similar pro-grammes at district and upazila levels.
