Govt asks all to refrain from bursting firecrackers on 31st night

Department of Environment has asked all to refrain from bursting firecrackers during the celebra-tion of 31st night marking the New Year eve.
“If firecrackers are burst during the celebrations of 31st night on the occasion of New Year, it makes sound and air pollution. Refrain from doing such activities,” said a press release of the de-partment yesterday.
The department also sought cooperation from all concerned in this regard.
