The country is being governed by an invisible force instead of the Awami League, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said on Saturday.
“It seems that it is not Awami League but an invisible evil force is governing the country,” Fakhrul said this while addressing a rally held in front of the party’s Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka this afternoon.
Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, the youth front of BNP, organised the rally pressing home their demand for an unconditional release of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and her advanced treatment abroad.
Blaming Awami League for hanging onto power forcibly, Fakhrul said the government is pushing Khaleda Zia to the verge of death depriving her of advanced treatment.
