Milton Samadder detained

Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has detained Milton Samadder, founder and chairman of Child & Old Age Care.

The detectives detained him in a drive in the capital’s Mirpur area on Wednesday evening, said Additional Commissioner and DB chief Mohammad Harun Or Rashid.

Details regarding the matter will be provided at a media briefing at the DB office tonight, the DB chief added.

The detention of Milton Samadder follows media reports regarding his alleged irregularities and offenses centered around the care home.

Child & Old Age Care is a non-government and non-profit organization that works for the betterment of disabled and abandoned children and elderly people in the country.
