Sonali Bank’s Ruma Branch Manager Nezam Uddin, who was rescued unharmed, expressed his gratitude to the law enforcement agencies and colleagues.
While talking to the journalists, Nezam Uddin said, “I’m fine now and expressing my gratitude to all the law enforcement agencies including Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and my colleagues.”
Earlier, Nezam Uddin was kidnapped by the separatist group Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF). Later, he was rescued by RAB members from Ruma Bazar at around 7:30pm on Thursday two days after his abduction and taken to Bandarban at night.
Nezam Uddin and his wife Maisura Isfat spoke to the media at the conference room in Bandarban Hill District Parishad on Friday afternoon.
