Life-term convict in rape case held after 22 years

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested a life-term convict, who has been on the run for 22 years and has been sentenced to life in a rape case.

The convict, Taslim Uddin (52), was arrested from Bhulta area of ​​Narayanganj district on Tuesday afternoon.

RAB-3 Commander (CO) Lt. Col. Arif Mohiuddin Ahmed confirmed the matter to the journalists.

He said that details regarding the matter will be disclosed in a press conference at RAB-3’s office in Tikatuli of the capital on Wednesday.
