PM Hasina congratulates Putin on reelection as Russian president

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday conveyed her heartfelt congratulations to Vladimir Putin on his reelection as the president of Russia, reports BSS.

Putin secured a huge victory in Russia’s election on Sunday, winning six more years in the Kremlin and cementing his tight grip on power.

He won a landslide with 87% of the vote, or 76 million, on a turnout of more than 77% in the election, both records in post-Soviet Russian history.
