Death from Gazipur gas cylinder explosion reaches 10

The death toll from gas cylinder explosion at Konapara of Kaliakoir in Gazipur rose to 10 as more four injured persons including two children died in the last 12 hours since Sunday midnight.
Police identified the deceased as Zahirul Islam, 40, Motaleb, 45, Solaiman, 9 and Rabbi, 13.
“The four persons who were injured in the gas cylinder explosion on Wednesday succumbed at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute,” said its resident physician Dr Tariqul Islam.
They had 65 to 95 percent burn injuries, he said.
Earlier, another six persons including a minor child died in the gas cylinder blast that injured at least 36 people on Wednesday last.
The deceased were Taiba, 3, Ariful Islam, 35, Mahidul, 24, Nargis Khatun, 22, Mansur Ali and So-laiman.
