CNG stations off from 5pm-10pm during Ramadan

Staff Reporter:

The ministry of power, energy and mineral resources has fixed closing time of compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling stations from 5 pm to 10 pm (5-hour) during Ramadan.
According to an instruction of the ministry, it rescheduled the opening and closing time of CNG refuel-ing stations and set five hours for closing time during the Ramadan in order to mitigate possible low-pressure of gas distribution network during the peak hours of electricity.
From 1st Ramadan, 2024 to 6th April, 2024, the CNG station closing time will be 5 pm to 10 pm (5-hour), which was earlier 6 pm to 11 pm.
Necessary measures should be taken to keep CNG stations open round-the-clock during April 7-18, 2024 to facilitate supply of fuel for vehicles movement on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
After the Eid, CNG stations will remain closed from 6 pm to 11 pm from April 19, 2024, as before.
