71 seats remain vacant in government medical colleges

A total of 71 seats remained unfilled in the government medical colleges across the country, Director (Medical Education) of the Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) Prof. Dr. Md Mahiuddin Matubber said on Thursday.

While talking, he said that the highest number of vacant seats is 59 for general students, three for the freedom fighters and 9 for the tribal quotas.

The DGME is set to publish the first medical MBBS admission migration result today, said Matubber.

The admission of students who have passed the MBBS admission examination for the academic year 2023–24 was held from February 18 to February 24 this year.
