Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) yesterday predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at different parts of the country today.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Khulna divisions and weather may remain mainly dry with tem-porary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” a met office bulletin said.
Night and day temperature may rise by (1-2)oC over the country, the bulletin added.
Country’s maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 31.2 degrees Celsius at Teknaf in Chattogram division while yesterday’s minimum temperature 09 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 5:58 pm yesterday and rises at 6:25 am today in the capital.
