330 Myanmar forces to be sent back today

Staff Reporter:

A total of 330 members of Myanmar forces and other officials, who crossed the border and took shelter in Bangladesh facing heavy gunfight with the ‘freedom fighters’ in Myanmar, will be sent back to their country today.
The officials will be handed over to concerned authorities of Myanmar at 8 am through the Naval Jetty Ghat in Inani of Cox’s Bazar, a press release signed by Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) pub-lic relations officer Shariful Islam said yesterday.
They will return to their country by a ship, he said.
The Myanmar officials started fleeing to Bangladesh since February 4 as heavy fighting continued in Myanmar between the junta forces and rebel group Arakan Army.
