AL pays tribute to martyred Matiur Rahman

Awami League (AL) yesterday paid tributes to martyred Matiur Rahman at his memorial in front of Nabokumar Institute in city’s Bakshibazar marking the historical Mass Upsurge Day.
AL Presidium Member Advocate Qamrul Islam, Joint General Secretary and Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, Deputy Office Secretary Sayem Khan, executive committee member Nirmal Chatterjee and leaders of the party’s Dhaka south and north units were present.
Besides, Krishak League led by its president Samir Chanda also paid tribute to Motiur marking the day.
