Father, son dead in Kurigram road accident

A Correspondent:

Kurigram: A man and his son were killed in a collision between a motorbike and a three-wheeler, locally known as nasiman, on Sonahat land port road in Bhurungamari upazila of Kurigram on Sunday morning.
The deceased were Shahidul Islam, 48, and his son Biplob Hasan, 25, hailing from Sarkartari vil-lage of the upazila.
Locals said the victims riding on the bike were going to their village home from Bhurungamari upazila sadar in the morning.
The accident occurred when the three-wheeler crashed into the motorcycle coming from the oppo-site direction in Patershawari area, leaving the two critically injured, they said.
They were rushed to Bhurungamari Upazila Health Complex where physicians declared them dead upon arrival.
Bhurungamari police station’s Officer-in-Charge Ruhul Amin said poor visibility caused by dense fog might be the reason behind the accident.
