Seven members of a house in Faridpur have been hospitalized after eating homemade khichuri.
They are: Mohammad Zakir Hossain, 40, Fazlu Kazi, 60, Sarwar Kazi, 45, Monir Kazi, 45, Ashiq, 16, Amena Begum, 40, Ilyas Kazi, 41.
They got sick after eating khichuri cooked in the house of one Fazlu Kazi in Kazikandi Kazibari of Chermanair Union under Sadarpur Police Station of Faridpur District on Monday morning.
They were first taken to Shibchar Upazila Health Complex.
Later, they were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital at 2:30pm for advanced treatment, said Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police outpost.
They are now receiving treatment at the medicine department of Ward No. 601, he added.
