Bus set on fire in Gazipur during blockade

A Correspondent:

Gazipur: A bus was set on fire at Uttar Salna in Gazipur city yesterday, during the ongoing 24-hour blockade called by BNP.
Abdullah Al Arefin, deputy assistant director of Gazipur Fire Service, said miscreants set fire to the bus at 6:30 am.
On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze.
A 24-hour countrywide rail, road and waterways blockade is underway with some incidents of arson attacks.
Traffic movement on Dhaka-Mymensing and Dhaka-Tangail highways was thin, while vehicular move-ment on internal routes was normal.
