Rohingya man shot killed in Cox’s Bazar clash

Cox’s Bazar: A Rohingya man was shot to death and five others were injured in a clash between adher-ents of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) and the Rohingya Solidarity Organisation (RSO) at Ukhiya Rohingya camp in Cox’s Bazar district on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Yunus, son of Nur Mohammad of Kutupalong camp.
Shamim Hossain, officer-in-charge of Ukhiya Police Station, said the clash erupted at 2 pm when the members of ARSA and RSO exchanged bullets over establishing supremacy, leaving one killed on the spot and five others injured.
The injured were taken to a local hospital.
