The government on Thursday reshuffled the postings of 12 police officers each holding the rank of superintendent, according to a notification released by the concerned wing of the Home Ministry.
As per the notification, Tourist Police Superintendent Nihad Adnan and Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) Superintendent Rajib Farhan have been attached to the Rangpur Range office, Jhenidah Superintendent Mahfuj Afjal has been attached to the Armed Police Battalion (APBn), and Noakhali Superintendent TM Mosharraf Hossain to Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abu Saim has been appointed as Panchagarh district superintendent, DMP DC Manirul Islam as Moulvibazar superintendent, DMP DC NM Nasiruddin as Noakhali superintendent, DMP DC Mia Mohammad Ashish Bin Hasan as Jhenidah superintendent, and CID Superintendent Prattush Kumar Majumder as Feni district superintendent.
Furthermore, Panchagarh district Superintendent Mizanur Rahman, Moulvibazar Superintendent Riyazul Islam, and superintendent from another district have been attached to the Police Headquarters in the capital.
