US envoy calls on PM’s Defense Adviser

A three-member US delegation, led by US Ambassador in Dhaka Brent T Christensen, yesterday paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister’s Defense Adviser Brigadier General (retd) Dr AKM Shamsul Islam.
The meeting was held in the Defense Adviser’s office at Armed Forces Division in Dhaka Cantonment, an ISPR press release said here.
During the meeting, they discussed about the excellent bilateral relations exist between Bangladesh and the United States and various issues related to mutual interest.
They also discussed in detail the issues of enhancing mutual cooperation at the military level, exchange of experiences and expansion of training activities between the two countries.
