293 mobile courts to monitor fuel situation

The government has deployed a total of 293 mobile courts across 62 districts to monitor the fuel supply situation nationwide.
During these drives, 78 cases were filed and fines penalized amounting to Tk 315,550.
According to the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, the drive will continue to ensure a stable fuel supply and to prevent irregularities in distribution and sales.
In addition, executive magistrates from the Energy Division are conducting mobile court opera-tions daily at various locations across Dhaka city.
The drive will also continue today in the capital and its surrounding areas.
Authorities have urged the public to report any suspected irregularities by contacting the vigilance team through designated phone numbers.
