48 arrested in 24 hours in Dhaka

Law enforcers have arrested 48 people from different parts of the capital as part of the ongoing Opera-tion Devil Hunt Phase-2 in 24 hours till Sunday morning.
Among the arrestees, 27 were arrested from Mirpur area, ten from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area and 11 from Jatrabari area, said deputy commissioner (DC) Talebur Rahman of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
They were arrested in different criminal cases, he said.
