4 killed in road accident in Chandina

Cumilla: Four people were killed and three were injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Chattogram High-way in Chandina upazila of Cumilla early Tuesday.
The accident occurred in Belasar area of Chandina at 5:30 am yesterday.
The deceased were identified as Monir Hossain, Habibur Rahman, Akhter Hossain and Rafiqul Islam.
Manjurul Alam Mollah, officer-in-charge of Eliotganj Highway Police Station said that a Dhaka- bound truck carrying fish from Noakhali overturned and collided with a parked truck in Chandina’s Belasar area.
Four workers on the truck were crushed and died on the spot, he added.
The injured were taken to Dhaka for better treatment, said the OC.
