Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) yesterday predicted that the day and the night tempera-ture may rise by (1-2)oC over the country today.
“Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country and night and day temperature may rise by (1-2)oC,” the BMD release said.
Country’s maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 31.3 degrees Celsius at Cox’s Bazar in Chatto-gram division while yesterday’s minimum temperature 10.5 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 5.59 pm today and rises at 6.22am tomorrow in the capital.
