Bashundhara Khata arranges first reunion of BM College’s Marketing Dept

Bashundhara Khata assisted in hosting the first reunion of the Marketing Department of Government Brojomohun (BM) College, Barishal on Friday.

At the beginning of the programme, a colourful rally was brought out from in front of the academic building of the Marketing Department. The rally paraded through different roads of the campus and concluded in front of the academic building. This was followed by a discussion session and a cultural programme.

T-shirts and various gift items were also distributed among the students during the event.

The discussion session was attended by BM College Principal Professor Dr Sheikh Md Tajul Islam, Additional Divisional Commissioner (General) of Barishal Md Ahsan Habib, Additional Divisional Commissioner (Revenue) Md Sohrab Hossain, BM College Vice Principal Professor Abu Taher Md Rashedul Islam; founding chairman of the Marketing Department Professor Shah Sajeda, and current department head Md Mizanur Rahman Khan.

Also present was Karimul Arafat, assistant general manager of the Marketing Department at Safwan Bashundhara Global.

Speakers said that the first reunion of the Marketing Department of BM College was a historic event, adding that such initiatives will further strengthen the bond between current students and the alumni. They also expressed gratitude to Safwan Bashundhara Global for its support in arranging the programme.

The students, too, thanked Bashundhara for its cooperation in making the event successful and called for the continuation of such initiatives in the future.
