Israel strikes building in south Beirut after warning

BEIRUT, Lebanon, April 5, 2026 (Net) – Israel struck a building in south Beirut on Sunday after issuing an evacuation warning, Lebanese state media reported, as the Israeli military said it was hitting Hezbol-lah targets.
“The enemy targeted the threatened building in the Ghobeiry area towards Bir Hassan-Jnah,” Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency reported.
An AFP photographer saw a missile hit a building and Israeli warplanes flying at low altitude over the capital.
