Ad-Din Hospital grabs public road; offers worst service

An example of what a mismanagement and worst health services to people is the Ad-Din Hospital in the capital doing its undue lucrative businesses under the banner of social service.
Ad-Din Hospital is established by a business tycoon group (Akij Group) grabbing the public road and properties owned by the government and non-Bengali Ispahani people in Ramna-Moghbazar area.
The hospital and medical college are running without its own campus, no parking area,lack of experi-enced doctors, nurses, equipment and other health service providing facility systems. They do mostly gynecology service by taking high cost.
Ad-Din is the only hospital and a medical college doing business in a residential area without owing own campus, parking lot, ambulance parking facilities, patients receiving and departure facilities, attendance movement facilities. It is alleged that patients are hardly receiving delay and improper treatment by the nurses who also behave rough with the patients and attendants. The hospital also has lack of renowned doctors, but the most of duty doctors are seen unavailable when patient needs. The patients have to take a so called ‘book’ compusory by paying money before getting treatment, even same ‘rules’ for emergen-cy.
The hospital has some dilapidated minis buses which used as ambulance always are seen parking on the public road. On the other hand, all cars and vehicles of the medical college,students and teachers are seen parking on the road that causes always traffic congestion.
The authority of the hospital and college also established a confectionery and bakery factory under the college building. So, hundreds of delivery and product carrying van keep piled around, which very harmful for the passersby.
The hospital established by grabbing the major portion of the road namedMoghbazar’s ‘Jamindergoli’, the only road connected Moghbazar Square to Ramna-Siddeswari-Wireless (Viqarunnisa-Siddeswari College) areas. People have expressed their concern and raised question that who gave them permission to grab the public road to set up a hospital? And how they made obstacle to public movement to do their business?
The Ad-Din Hospital is established in a residential area, which not supposed to get authorization, and it making the environment of whole area polluted that not favorable for living in a residential area.
Locals have expressed their eagerness over the boiling issues and sought immediate action from the gov-ernment’s concerned departments before any unwanted situation volcanize in the area.
