The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs has announced special security measures and traffic restrictions in and around the National Memorial in Savar ahead of the observance of the Victory Day 2025.
According to an official directive, vehicular movement in the National Memorial area will remain sus-pended from December 13 to 15, and again on 16 from 3:00am to 8:30am to ensure security and cleanse activities ahead of the national observance.
The directive also states that entry of the general public in the inner premises of the National Memorial on December 16 will remain restricted until 8:30am.
The measures have been taken to facilitate smooth arrangements for the Victory Day ceremonies and to ensure a secure environment for state dignitaries, freedom fighters, and visitors, the order said.
