Staff Reporter:

BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed yesterday expressed the hope that the Advisory Council and the government will thoroughly discuss the recommendations of the National Consensus Commission (NCC) and adopt a process that will have a constitutional basis.
He made these remarks to journalists after a meeting with Law Adviser Professor Asif Nazrul at the Law Ministry in the Secretariat here.
Salahuddin Ahmed said, “The National Consensus Commission wanted to complete its activities by mak-ing some recommendations just to get rid of its responsibility or ‘to be discharged’.”
