5-year-old boy dies after falling from rooftop

A five-year-old boy, Arkit Rajbanshi, died on Tuesday afternoon after slipping and falling from the rooftop of a six-story building in Hazaribagh’s Bhagolpur Lane.
The incident occurred around 2:30 pm. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) Hospital, where doctors declared him dead at around 3:30 pm.
Arkit was the only son of Rana Rajbanshi, a resident of 120 Hazaribagh.
His mother, Antra Rajbanshi, said her son accidentally slipped while playing on the rooftop.
Inspector Md. Faruk, in charge of the DMCH police camp, said the body has been kept at the hospital morgue and the matter has been reported to the local police station.
