Four trainee ASPs removed from service

The government has dismissed four trainee Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) from the 43rd batch of the BCS (Police) cadre.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (Police-1 Wing) issued a gazette notification in this regard on Thursday.

Signed by Deputy Secretary Md Mahbubur Rahman, the notification said that the four probationary ASPs were removed from service under Rule 6(2)(a) of the Bangladesh Civil Service Rules, 1981.

The dismissed officers are— probationary ASPs Sher Shah, Shovon Kumar Biswas, Md Rowshan Jamil, and Ashfaq Ferdous.

The order was issued with the approval of the competent authority, the notification added
