At least four Dengue patients have died and 845 new cases of Dengue recorded in the past 24 hours till Sunday morning.
“During the period, (of the 845) 166 patients were hospitalized in Barishal division, 91 in Chattogram division, 164 in Dhaka division excluding the capital, 112 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and 97 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) areas, 101 in Khulna division, 37 in Mymensingh division, 54 in Rajshahi division, 17 in Rangpur division and six in Sylhet division, a Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) statement said.
Since the start of the dengue onslaughts Bangladesh this year so far witnessed 192 deaths while the dis-ease inflicted 46,051.
The dengue last year claimed 575 lives and inflicted 1,01,214 people in the country.
