Student-people uprising to be constitutionally recognised: Yunus

Chief Adviser Prof Mohammad Yunus said the student-people uprising of 2024 will be given constitutional recognition to honour the spirit of the injured and fallen martyrs.

The chief adviser made this statement while unveiling the 28-point July Declaration, a pivotal political document for the country, on Tuesday afternoon.

“The student-people uprising of 2024 will be given appropriate state and constitutional recognition. The declaration will be included in the schedule of the amended constitution of the government to be elected in the next general election,” he said, while reading out the declaration.
