Three dengue patients die, 331 hospitalized

Three dengue patients died and 331 were hospitalized across the country in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning.
“During the period, 132 patients were hospitalized in Barishal division while 30 were reported in Chat-togram division, 73 in Dhaka division, 28 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), 47 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), 18 in Khulna division and three in Mymensingh division,” said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of cases rose to 19,120 — while 73 deaths from dengue the mosquito-borne disease — were reported this year.
During the last 24 hours, 275 patients were discharged from different hospitals across the country after receiving treatment.
