One more dies from dengue

One more person died and 114 others were hospitalised with dengue in the 24 hours till Friday morning, says the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The new death takes the year’s toll to 61, 32 of whom are male and 29 are female. The total hospitalisations have hit 16,395, so far this year.

Among the latest 114 hospitalisations, 43 were admitted in the Chattogram division, excluding the city corporation areas; 31 in Dhaka division, excluding city corporation areas; 29 in Dhaka North and South City Corporation areas; 10 in Barishal division, excluding city areas; and one in Mymensingh division, excluding city areas, the DGHS said.
