List of 4,409 people in Rehab Project cancelled

The list of 4,409 people for rehabilitation in Cox’s Bazar Climate Refugee Rehabilitation Project (Khu-rushkul) has been cancelled.
A notification, signed by Dr. Mohammad Mohibul Hasan, Director of the Chief Adviser’s office, yester-day said that the list of 4,409 people has been prepared in 2011 for rehabilitation in the project as per the “Beneficiary Selection,
Government Flat Handover and Maintenance Policy for Multi-Storey Buildings Constructed in Cox’s Bazar Climate Refugee Rehabilitation Project (Khurushkul)”, 2025, has been cancelled as it was flawed, questionable and biased.
