Online GD (General Diary) service will be introduced in all police stations Chittagong Range and Chit-tagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) from today.
The Police Headquarters (PHQ) said in a statement yesterday.
Police department has taken the initiative at the instructions of the Chief Adviser to deliver police ser-vices to the doorstep of the people in the fastest and easiest way,” the statement said.
The online GD service was launched first in all police stations of Sylhet Metropolitan Police and police stations of Chandpur District on April 15, 2025.
Earlier, online GD could be done only in case of loss and receipt of any objects. But all types of GD might be done in all police stations of Chattogram range from today, according to the statement.
One can enjoy the service by downloading the ‘Online GD’ App from the Google Play Store.
Online GD services will be launched in other police ranges and metros in phases, the statement said.
